Started in 1952, Beach Sheet Metal Company, Inc. has been designing and fabricating quality architectural sheet metal products for over 60 years. We specialize in old world craftmanship with hand hammered accents on many of our designs.

Our products include but are not limited to dormers, cupolas, finials, chimney caps, conductors, roof and wall louvered vents, custom vent hoods, counter tops, column caps, mailboxes, gutter and downspout systems and metal roof systems.

Jason Carter of Jason Carter Custom Homes in Dallas, Texas writes - When installing half-round style gutters, I have had problems with the roof water running out between the gutter and the fascia, How can I prevent this from occurring?

All gutter whether half-round, ogee ("K-Style"), or box style gutter should be installed under the metal roof edge, which will prevent the water run-off from running behind the gutter.

When using an external bracket for half-round gutter, such as the Berger Bros. combination bracket, the drip edge should be held out from the fascia 3/4". This will place the vertical leg of your drip edge into the gutter. This simple procedure will prevent a lot of customer complaints.
